Introducing Rohan Matthews

I’m both proud and excited to introduce the newest member of the team, Rohan Matthews (Bach. Couns, PACFA) who has joined me at VM Psychotherapy. Rohan joins me with a wealth of experience created over several years of working in high conflict and high-risk Child Safety Environments. Rohan specialises in supporting children, teens and young adults with complex mental health needs, disabilities, trauma, school refusal, impulsivity issues and anxiety.  In addition, Rohan has worked in high demand environments as a counsellor, having spent six months counselling inmates in Woodford Prison and Community Corrections.

Rohan is looking forward to supporting teens and young adults in the Noosa Area from our clinic in Noosa Junction. Rohan is trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Rohan is an integrative practitioner, using the strategies that benefit each client best individually. Clients will be excited to learn that Rohan uses Lego, Clay, Art Therapy and card games in his work with young people.

Rohan does not require a GP referral and as a counsellor is not eligible for Medicare rebates. You can book into see Rohan without emailing him first.

Rohan’s fees are as follows:

Individual Counselling - $130 per hour

Home Visits Travel (Non-NDIS clients) - As above rate, plus an additional travel rate

NDIS Counselling - $156.16

NDIS Travel for Home Visits - As per NDIS rate of travel
